Marist goes co-ed for Senior High

Marist goes co-edFemales are now welcome to enroll in Marist!

This is one of the changes that Marist School in its senior high school (SHS) program has introduced this school year, straying away from the long-kept tradition of exclusivity for boys that it is known for. It will definitely make way for big changes in the school’s environment and culture.

This school year, a number of female grade 11 students have enrolled in all the offered tracks.

“I’m very satisfied with the way [the male students] act around them,” Mr. Camilo Fernandez, the Marist Senior High School In-charge, remarked. “I hope we can have more of them (females) next year.” By Adrian Zamora, Ybañez Del Prado, and Harry Singh
