More ‘focused’ MHI nabs big wins

More focused (courtesy of Myx)The Marist High Impact (MHI) continues to succeed in their dancing stints, emerging as the grand champion of Hype Up Elite Dance Battle, division champion of MYX Moves Streetdance Competition, and a finalist of the Ego Supreme Crew Wars 3.

“They are really focused on their target,” Mr. Edison Jocson, MHI coach, shared: “They would feel bad whenever they don’t reach their set targets.”

Out of the 28 high school and college dance troupes from across the metro, MHI landed on the top spot of Hype Up Elite Dance Battle that took place at the Ynares Sports Center Arena on December 9, 2016.

Then, last November 23 at the SM North EDSA Skydome, the team bested Indak from Ateneo de Manila University and Dance X from Xavier School in the Boys Division of MYX Moves Streetdance Competition.

This gave them the ticket to enter the Finals Round against Aglaia from the School of the Holy Spirit of Quezon City and CSA Dance Troupeof Colegio San Agustin where they placed third.

Meanwhile, MHI placed seventh out of fifteen all-boys high school dance troupes from across the country in the Ego Supreme Crew Wars 3 held at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum on November 13, 2016. By Mr. Miguel Villon
