October 21, 2019 – In response to creating a more sustainable future that at the long run will promote a cleaner and healthier environment, Marist School of Marikina officially inaugurated its solar photovoltaic rooftop system, in partnership with its supplier, Energisto Philippines.
The event was attended by the Honorable Mayor Marcelino Teodoro of Marikina, Mr. Stefan Schmitz of the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Antrak Philippines Transport Solutions Corporation, and Mr. Ralf Klett of Energisto Philippines. Also in attendance were the school’s administrators and personnel, student leaders, and parent representatives.
In his speech, Mr. Klett thanked the school for being at the forefront of using renewable energy towards a sustainable future. Meanwhile, Mayor Teodoro commended the school for being a good example to the community, which also inspired him to consider the installation of the system in the city of Marikina.
Br. Nino Pizarro, the school President, thank the Honorable Mayor Marcelino Teodoro, Mayor of Marikina and the rest of those who were present for their support and for being one with the school in its vision to promote a cleaner and healthier environment.
