Circular for Parents and Guardians: May 31, 2020 (Attachments: Interim Guidelines for COVID-19 Prevention and Marist Online Learning Program)

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Good day to all!

On the outset, I hope that you and your family are all safe and healthy as you read this letter.

I thank you for your continued trust and confidence on Marist Education. Marist School remains committed to continue to provide your child/children quality holistic, Christian education amid these extraordinary times.

Over the past months, school administrators and academic personnel have been working with information and communication technology professionals in drafting the School Program for SY 2020-2021 and, particularly, in setting up distance and online teaching-learning modalities that conform to guidelines on new norms in education, health, and safety as mandated by the government. Through these innovative learning approaches, we are confident that we would be able to provide educational opportunities and enriching experiences for every Marist School learner while standard classroom instruction is not feasible.

Please know that our thoughts are with you and that we are working to ensure a safe learning environment while delivering your need for quality Marist education for your children. While it is our responsibility to continue to educate your child/children, we also want to compassionately take into consideration the variety of challenges that Marist School and you, our dear parents and guardians, are facing in adjusting to the drastic changes brought by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding and let us all move on with flexibility, positivity and resilience. Most of all, we continue to pray for one another and hope that all things shall be well ahead of us. With God’s blessings and through the intercession of Mary, our Good Mother, we are all in this together to surpass the tests of the present times.

Yours sincerely in Mary,

(Signed)
