HEALTH BREAK ON JAN 10-14 DECLARED

In a letter to all parents and guardians on January 7, 2022, Br. Allan J. De Castro, FMS, school president, declared the week of January 10 – 14, 2022, a health break week for the school. He cited the alarming high number of coronavirus infections reported in the NCR and of the significant number of our students and teachers who are suffering from fever or flu-like symptoms and whose families are facing health issues as the primary reasons for the health break. His letter reads as follows:

January 7, 2022

Dear Marist Parents and Guardians,

May God’s peace be with you and your family!

In view of the alarmingly high number of coronavirus infections reported in the NCR and of the significant number of our students and teachers who are suffering from fever or flu-like symptoms and whose families are facing health issues, Marist School holds a Health Break next week (January 10 – 14).

The break entails the suspension of all synchronous and asynchronous activities of the Marist VIOLETS, providing the much-needed period for all stakeholders to rest and attend to their physical well-being.

Consequently, the Exam Week is moved to January 17 – 21 and the Completion Week to January 24 – 28. Please wait for further announcement regarding changes and adjustments to be made in the school calendar for the second semester activities.

Also, kindly note that the Business Office will continue to accept onsite and online payment of tuition and other fees during the break from 7:30am to 12 noon.

Thank you so much for your cooperation and kind understanding. We continue to pray for each other, to remain steadfast in our faith, and to hope for the end of the pandemic.

Sincerely,

(Signed)
Br. Allan J. De Castro, FMS
School President
