MICROSOFT LICENSES FOR STUDENTS PROVISIONED

Marist School through its Information and Communications Technology Office has begun the assigning of Microsoft 365 (M365) licenses to all its students. Beginning with the senior high school students, the office has commenced the roll-out of M365 school accounts that will serve as activation credentials for obtaining licenses for Office 365 and the latest Windows operating systems plus a host of other education software. The Microsoft Academic 3 plan to which the school is subscribed allows each student or faculty member to activate up to fifteen different devices with a single account.  Its provisioning is intended to equip students and faculty with software that are compliant with legal and ethical requirements and made indispensable with the widespread application of online education.

M365 licenses were first provisioned for SHS students in November.  They are set to be provisioned for the JHS and GS students in the latter part of January.  Licenses issued to students remain active for the duration of their enrollment at Marist.  This means that Marist students are licensed to use Microsoft 365 software from the time of their enrollment to their graduation.
