The tournament will be held at the Marist School Gymnasium from July 17 to July 19, 2018 with the following participating Marist schools:<\/p>\n<table style=\"height: 88px;\" width=\"800\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"331\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Catholic High School, Sibu (Malaysia)<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<td style=\"text-align: left;\" width=\"270\">\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Notre Dame of Cotabato (Philippines)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: left;\" width=\"331\">\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Catholic High School, Petaling Jaya (Malaysia)<\/td>\n<td width=\"270\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Marist School, Marikina (Philippines)<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-862 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/maristschool.edu.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/front-300x227.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"227\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The tournament will follow single round robin elimination and \u201cknock out game\u201d for the final and championship round.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The MEABT 2018 carries the theme, \u201cJourneying Together as a Global Family\u201d, with the call of the 22<sup>nd<\/sup> Chapter of the Marist Institute. The tournament is also dedicated to the commemoration of the 70<sup>th<\/sup> year anniversary of Marist presence in the Philippines and the foundation of Notre Dame of Cotabato, and the 10<sup>th<\/sup> year anniversary of Marist East-Asia Province.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The MEABT was started by the Marist Brothers in Hong Kong and the Marist Schools Alumni Association in 2017 in conjunction with the celebration of Marist 200. It is organized in the spirit of collaboration and network building among students of Marist schools in East Asia and other regions. It is aimed at the promotion of partnerships, brotherhood, social interaction, character building, values formation and competency development.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Alumni, parents, students accompanied by their teacher or parent\/guardian and other members of the Marist School community may watch the games subject to campus guidelines, rules and regulations.
