Grade 6, Grade 12 students attend virtual graduation

To mark the milestone that they have achieved, Grade 6 and Grade 12 students from school year 2019-2020 recently attended their respective virtual Graduation Ceremonies held in Zoom.

On September 19, the families of the school’s Grade 6 students witnessed the end of their grade school years as 205 individuals were recognized as graduates.

Leading them were Jaob Zion Agbing, valedictorian, and Gabrielle Louie Alejo, salutatorian.

Selected students also covered the song “Graduation (Friends Forever)” by Vitamin C.

Meanwhile, Ken Joe Yamane and Joanna Missy Medalla led the 237 graduates of Grade 12 in their ceremony last October 4.

In his valedictory speech, Yamane encouraged his batchmates to be a “work in progress.”

“Believe it or not, I had so many shortcomings that came along with Fs. But change is a friend. I am always a work in progress, which is a good thing. There is no such thing as perfection because we all have the potential and we always have a bigger room to place our mark to improve and to become,” Yamane said.

By the end of the program, the original song entitled “Ang Huli” was presented as their graduation song, which was composed and performed by a group of Grade 12 students.

A similar celebration was held for the completers from Kinder and Grade 10 last September.
