PRINCIPAL’S CIRCULAR REGARDING PRESIDENT’S DAY

May 2, 2022 is President’s Day for Marist School, Marikina. In line with this, the Principal’s Office has issued a circular informing the school community of activities slated for that day. The circular reads:

April 29, 2022

Dear Marist Parents and Guardians:

May God’s peace be with you and your families!

On May 2, 2022 the Marist School Community joins our School President, Br. Allan de Castro, FMS, in celebrating his birthday and the gift of his sacred life.

Highlighting the celebration of our President’s Day are two main activities—the Holy Mass and the Opening of the May Flower Devotion. All parents, guardians, and students are cordially invited to take part in these activities which will be live streamed via the FB page of the Marist Campus Ministry Office at 9 AM.

Guided by our core values of Faith and Communion, we pray together as one Marist Family for Br. Allan as he embarks on his new mission of being the Provincial for the East Asia Province. May he be filled with the faith, vision, and courage of our patron St. Marcellin Champagnat as he leads the Marist Brothers communities in the Philippines (Philippine Sector); Malaysia; Singapore and Hong Kong (China Sector); Korea and Japan (Korea-Japan Sector). May his leadership be marked by wisdom, audacity, gratitude, and faith as he journeys with all Marists of Champagnat in their transformation as a global charismatic family.

In light of the community’s observance of President’s Day, please be informed that all synchronous and asynchronous sessions on May 2 are cancelled. Likewise, kindly take note that all offices will be closed for the day.

For your guidance. Thank you so much.

Ad Jesum per Mariam,

Mr. John Benjamin C. Balatbat
School Principal
